On May 12, 2008, an earthquake measured at 8.0 on the Richter Scale occurred in Wenchuan City,Sichuan Province. The earthquake shocked the world and every Chinese people worried the life of the people where the disaster took place. The Communist Party Branch in Union Chemical immediately declared in a document to mobilize all staffs to donate to the people suffering from earthquake.
